The jobs outlook for carpenters and electricians is forecast to be good, despite a recent downturn in some industries.

Employment for carpenters is expected to grow strongly over the next few years and very strongly for electricians. The mix of industries employing both these trades is seen as being very favourable for employment growth.

Our trade qualifications provide excellent skills and knowledge for employment in a wide variety of industry sectors, but especially building and construction, the 4th largest industry in Australia.

Trade qualifications can lead to great job prospects – skills that can take you all over the world. It varies between countries, but as in Australia, there is a shortage of qualified skilled workers.
