MEGT Institute centrally located campus in the heart of Melbourne CBD, has benefited from major renovations. The results of the new fit out are:
Our campus caters for international and domestic students, ABILITY English students and MEGT Institute students. It was important to have a study environment that felt welcoming to all students, where they all feel totally comfortable and inspired to learn.
The colours selected are to represent both brands for ABILITY English and MEGT Institute. The imagery used on the wall murals were inspired by the Australian landscape, including an innovative use of the logo of both ABILITY English and MEGT featuring the wings of the flying cockatoos.
Our Melbourne City Campus and Sydney City Campus, now have matching interiors with the ultimate aim to promote the best study experience possible for all our students.
Our new common room has a welcoming atmosphere, with comfortable lounges in vibrant colours along with free wi-fi and easy access to kitchen facilities. There is a stage with projector facilities for all sorts of entertainment such as movie night or karaoke.
In the common room you can find our unique message board ‘the trees of knowledge’. On these ‘trees’ students to leave their words of wisdom to the next student. On receiving their certificate, as their final farewell, students leave a note on a luggage tag on our tree sculptures passing advice or a goodbye message to the incoming student.
We now have a new and upgraded free wi-fi, a new computer lab and an abundance of computers for students to access on level 2, level 3 and also in classrooms on level 4 for students to use as part of their classroom studies.
The Play Session Room is designed to create a childcare centre environment where our students can put theory into practise. The aim of the Play Session Room is for our Certificate III and Diploma students to create and implement educational programs with children from the local community under the supervision of our skilled trainers.
Next to the common room is a new kitchen and a cafe area. Here students have modern kitchen facilities including plenty of microwaves, fridges and a seating area for students to enjoy their meals in a nice setting. Students are all given free cups to keep as mementos and to access free tea and coffee.
Melbourne is famous for it’s cafes and food markets. Melbourne City Campus is located in the best spot for accessing the wonderful laneways with cheap, multicultural, fashionable, arty cafes.
